Following the departure of Jurgen Klopp (former Liverpool manager), all Premier League fans were eager to see how the Arne Slot (new manager) era would begin.

Liverpool fans have for long been used to a high paced game characterized by long balls to Salah from the back or the marauding runs and crosses from Trent Alexandar Arnold and Andrew Robertson.

Arne Slot's playing style differs from Klopp as he has been praised for his possession based football. Heading into this game, Liverpool were also the only team in the Premier League big six not to have made a major signing.
    Salah 9 goal record

The real question remains, will Liverpool be able to mount a title charge this season?
